Opening Up

“Bottom line: if you show a genuine interest in learning about how others became successful, you can open up a world of opportunities.”

–Armstrong Williams, Political Commentator

While it is true that success leaves clues, success also has a voice. If we recognize that we already know what we know, and that we likely don’t know what others know, we stand to have breakthrough opportunities in our life. It is a great compliment to ask someone how they arrived at the lofty place that they have arrived at in their life. If the question comes respectfully, with true curiosity, and with a sincere interest, we stand to hear a great deal about their journey and the setbacks that lead to their success. What have you not yet accomplished that may only be a conversation away from your grasp?
