Access Point <Listen to Life>
“Learning to live resides in our willingness to listen. Listening is the act of receiving. When we are able to listen, we are able to receive. And we always receive all that we require to play up to our potential in the great game of life”
- James K. McPartland
All of the greats - being great parents, professionals, students, or athletes are great to the degree they have learned to listen. These people listen with intention, pay close attention to what is being said and acted upon, heed sage advice, and both tune in to and seek feedback. They are not followers as much as they are students. Success in all walks of life tend to leave clues, and it is concentration and comprehension that enables one to truly hear -and receive- that which is needed in the moment. Quite often what we need is hiding in plain sight and most certainly within earshot.
