Wrong

"Being wrong as fast as possible is the path to higher learning."

James McPartland

We all hold beliefs, many of which we seek to validate through our daily living. After all, if we can't hold on to what we believe, what can we hold on to? Many of our beliefs were adopted from parents and teachers, from the environments where we spent most of our time, and in the social networks where we strived to belong.

We know what we know and, for the most part, we know what we don't know. The opportunity for growth comes from the fertile ground of what we don't know that we don't know. If we need to be right, how can we ever see the blind spots that will eventually blindside us? Setbacks can advance us up the path to higher learning far faster than any success or area where we were able to prove ourselves right.
